Started in 1971 Can-Am was begun with a team of Canadian and Californians.  Can-Am originally used Rotax engines.  Production began in 1973 with a strong race development program. Can-Ams were advanced for their time and made an immediate impact, with riders winning Gold, Silver and Bronze medals at the International Six Days Trials.
